Me and my work
Born in 1961 in Bussum (The Netherlands) I now live in Lage, a very little village just accross the Dutch border in Germany.
I studied Painting and Prints on the Academy of Arts in Arnhem, and graduated in 2002.
Especially the Still Life gives me the opportunity to show the beauty of the usual everyday things and to play with colour, ornament and light.
During the years I gradually began to search for a certain still serenity, a calm quietness. It's a long interesting way.
